The goal of the Video History Project is to preserve the history of SOA members who have conducted Special Operations missions around the world.  Through interviews with past and present-day Special Operations combat veterans, we create a factual account of what Special Operations warriors have accomplished, what they have endured and what they have sacrificed for each other and for our country.

The project was initially limited to conducting interviews during the 4-day annual Special Operations Association reunion in October.  However, SOA members include combat veterans from all wars, and as these veterans are growing fewer in number, are infirm, or cannot travel, the program has been expanded allowing the interviews to be conducted outside the normal reunion dates.

There are thousands of stories waiting to be told.

Your support of this ongoing project is greatly appreciated.

DONATE TO THE VIDEO HISTORY PROGRAM

In addition to monetary gifts, the VHP appreciates donations of historical Special Operations artifacts and memorabilia to add to our inventory.  These artifacts will be displayed during the annual reunion along with the SOA’s existing inventory.

If you have questions, would like to schedule an interview or have items you would like to donate, contact the VHP Team.
